Plimmerton Classic Boats 2008
The weather turned absolutely perfectly for the 4th annual Plimmerton Classic Boat gathering on 15th March. The boats (and owners) started arriving about 0900 and by 1200 there were about 25 boats registered. They ranged in size from Peter Murton's 'Dinky' at about 5 feet long, to a Bolger folding schooner at about 25 feet or so.

A Wanderer - one of very few in NZ. Made famous by Frank Dye with his Scotland to Iceland and Scotland to Norway trips among other lengthy voyages.
